Hampers

This is how Caden and Jonah watched a movie today--in hampers. They thought it was great. Caden said, "This is really comfy!"

CEREAL !!!!!

I got all this cereal (50 boxes) for $60. Thats right! Smiths has the 10 for $10 and Albertsons has the 10 for $15. Oh yeah, we love cereal THIS MUCH!! Everyone better head over to get their boxes this week! (not head over to our house, head over to the grocery store. I'm not giving you any of my boxes). BOO-YA ! (jake gets really embarassed when i use my 80's lingo. I know its a lame, but i'm finding that i am having a hard time getting rid of the habit. The word i use that he hates the most--"sike". Are you embarassed babe? sorry. I love you, you never embarass me.)

New Tubes for the Tobes

Yup- Toby is getting new tubes in his ears on Monday. The tubes he received 3 1/2 months ago have been closed all along and are still closed. Poor kid still cant hear anything. And he still doesnt talk. Well, he blabs muffled nasal'y sounds, but no words yet. Hopefully these new tubes will be better and he will try to talk for us. The day he tries to say a word correctly, i will cry tears of joy. Man i love that stubborn little kid.

Jonah wanted to sit in the highchair to eat lunch today. And yes, he insisted that i buckle him in; you know, in case he fell out. Love that kid!

They welcomed Samuel, their new addition into their family on Saturday the 12th. Jonah loved holding Baby Sam at the hospital!

Little Addy's Birthday

a couple of weeks ago, our friends little girl Adelyn turned 1. She had a polka dot birthday party in our backyard. Doesnt she look adorable in her birthday dress!!

Shooting with the Dutchies

The men (and Autumn) went shooting (cameras and guns) with the Dutchies the day after the 4th.

But really....

My favorite part of 4th of July was seeing my cousins from Holland. I havent seen them in 8 years! They came over with My Uncle Ronald and his girlfriend Jos and surprised us by showing up to the party. It was awesome!

It was better than yours!!! (It's hard to host a party and take pictures, so there's not too many of them. Next year i will delegate better.) Oodles of food, blowup waterslide and jumper for the kids, snowcones, fireworks.... And my favorite part of the night was when everyone was on the front lawn waiting for the fireworks to start and the sprinklers turned on. oops
